I always make sure Sablemane survives, but never under ANY circumstances get credit. Attempted three times so far. Atempted a couple of extra times, couldn't survuve it or beat it. Either I died, or it didn't work.

I think it actually checks whether you're in a group. Ah well, impossible to find groups for these zones on my realm, abandoned this bugged junk. Very easy, actually, and I just have blues and greens. Near the end of the fight, Sablemane turns in to a dragon and that seems to turn the tables. Hopefully it's as easy for everyone else. I found I wasn't effected by the ground slam when I was at my limit of Mind Flay range and on a slight rise just under the cliff face to the North. This might be dependent on Goc's positioning and Sablemane of course but it was easy to deal with the first time I was punted. No pots required just a Shadowfiend.
